Candidate Bio

I have a basic knowledge of pest and disease management, which includes the ability to identify common pests and diseases that affect plants. I have experience in spraying for weeds and pests and have the ability to identify various tree species. I have hands-on experience in plant potting, which includes selecting the right soil, pots, and conditions for various plants and the use of a potting machine. This experience also encompasses root pruning, a skill necessary to encourage healthy root development and prevent root-bound conditions in potted plants. My attention to detail in this process ensures that each plant has the best possible start in its new environment. Tree pruning is another area where I have gained valuable experience. I understand the importance of proper pruning techniques to promote healthy growth, improve the structure of the tree, and remove any diseased or damaged branches. Above all, my love for plants drives my dedication to horticulture. This passion is the foundation of my commitment to continuously improving my skills and knowledge in the field. My genuine interest in plant life motivates me to excel in my work and contribute positively to any horticultural project I undertake. I believe my combination of skills in pest and disease management, tree identification, plant potting, root pruning, tree pruning, adaptability, and a deep love for plants makes me a strong fit for a traineeship role. I am eager to bring my abilities to a professional setting where I can further develop my expertise and contribute to the success of the horticultural team.
