I am a hardworking person who can provide close attention to detail in high-stress environments. For as long as I can remember, I've loved everything flora & fauna, especially anything native to Australia, and when it comes to nature, I am patient and ready to learn new things so that I can better understand the world around me. I do my best to make smart choices like avoiding single-use plastics, buying local goods where possible, and volunteering for my community. I have the habits, drive, and hands-on attitude to learn quickly and do my best to make a difference.
Kate came across as a genuinely warm, friendly, and motivated candidate who has a real interest in building a career in horticulture. She has a strong love for flora and fauna and has had previous exposure to gardening, making the opportunity to work within a nursery something she is genuinely excited to pursue. Kate is based in Mitcham, drives, holds a Diploma of Science and is not currently undertaking any other studies, allowing her to fully commit to completing a Certificate III in Horticulture.
