Candidate Shortlist

I studied Business Management in high school, which sparked my interest in the Recruitment/HR field, and I really enjoyed learning about how to open and run a business and how many things there are to manage simultaneously. While studying, I worked part-time as a medical receptionist, where I developed strong administrative skills like managing appointments, handling confidential information, and providing great service to patients. I chose not to pursue the university path because I value the hands-on learning and real-world experience that a traineeship offers. The practical skills I gained as a medical receptionist showed me the importance of applying knowledge directly in a workplace setting. By choosing a business admin traineeship, I can immediately immerse myself in the recruitment/HR field, where I’ll gain on-the-job training and mentorship.

After taking time off for maternity leave, I’m excited to re-enter the workforce and bring my experience in office administration to the recruitment field. Prior to my leave, I worked in a fast-paced real estate office, where I managed client communications, organized documents, and coordinated schedules. During this time, my sister started working as a recruitment consultant at a small recruitment agency, and we often discussed her experiences in the industry. Hearing her stories about the rewarding aspects of connecting people with job opportunities and the challenges of matching candidates with the right roles sparked my interest in recruitment. It gave me a deeper understanding of how impactful the industry can be. I’m eager to apply my skills in a business admin role, where my attention to detail will be valuable, and to continue learning in a field that aligns with my passion for making a positive impact.
