Candidate Shortlist

I believe I would be a great fit for a traineeship, because I have a strong foundation in plant knowledge, hands-on experience, and a genuine interest in working with plants day to day. I consider myself to be a quick leaner and easy collaborator, I recently completed a Diploma of Landscape Design at Holmesglen, where I learned how to select and specify plants based on climate, soil conditions, maintenance needs, and intended use. This has given me a solid understanding of how plants perform in real-world settings, which is directly relevant to nursery work.I also have practical experience as a planting assistant on student projects, including the Brandon Park Primary Design Project and the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show 2025. In these roles, I assisted with plant selection and planting, worked to tight deadlines, and followed detailed instructions in fast-paced environments. These experiences helped me build confidence working outdoors, as part of a team, and under pressure.
