Candidate Shortlist

I would be a good fit for the horticulture traineeship as it’s a great chance to build on my passion for plants and nature. I love caring for my houseplants and have always found being around greenery really calming. I’d love to learn more about horticulture and gain hands-on experience in how a nursery works.
I’ve studied Environmental Earth Science for three years at Monash University, which taught me about plant biology and soil science. I even won the Canavan Award in 2022 for being the “Best Second-Year Student in Earth Science,” which shows how dedicated I am to learn.
At my current job as a kitchen hand, I’ve learnt to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. I’m good at prioritising tasks, staying organised, and working both on my own and as part of a team. I’m always up for new challenges and believe this traineeship would be a great way to grow and develop.
I’m hardworking and enthusiastic and would love the chance to contribute while learning more about horticulture.
